 about

Built as the wartime home of the USAAF 453rd Bombardment Group, today Old Buckenham is one of the most famous and vibrant centres of aviation in the UK.

The home of the UK's first electric aircraft charging point (fourth in the world to be all solar-powered) we're also home to dozens of companies including an electric aircraft R&D and manufacturing facility, rocket scientists (with occassional launches), two museums and an Award Winning Airshow.

museum

Hollywood legend Jimmy Stewart was the first Operations Officer of Old Buckenham when it started life with its first and most important residents; the USAAF 453rd Bombardment Group.

We built a museum to them in 2014 and it houses the largest collection of 453rd memorobilia in existence.

We're also in the process of restoring 12 acres of Wartime buildings and infrastructure, including a Memorial Park in the shape of a B-24 tail.
